Ramgopal Varma’s Telugu venture is still on the floors and the talented director has already announced the release date! RGV’s ‘Katha Screenplay Darsakathvam: Appal Raju’ will release on January 12th 2011.

Sunil, the comedy hero, plays the role of an ambitious director in this hilarious flick that has almost all leading comedians of Telugu Film Industry. Dr,Bramhanandam, Ali, Thanikella Bharani, Venu Madhav, Raghu Babu, Krishnudu, Jai Prakash Reddy, MS Narayana, Chalapathi Rao, Suman Shetty, Harshavardhan, Rajesh and others are part of this movie that is a satirical take on movie directors.

Coming to information from the sets of the movie, the first schedule of shooting took place from September 1st till the 29th. Three songs and some talkie portion were shot. The next and final schedule will commence on October 21st and will end with the shooting of the entire movie.

Swathi and Sakshi are the heroines of the movie. Koti is the music director who has been given the responsibility of composing 9 songs! Whoa that’s quite a number!
